Repertoriu Național de Patrimoniu Cultural Imaterial – Volumul II" is a comprehensive inventory of Romania’s intangible cultural heritage, compiled under the coordination of the National Institute of Heritage. This second volume documents and describes the traditional knowledge, beliefs, and practices through which rural communities understood the universe, the Earth, plants, and animals. It brings together oral traditions, mythological narratives, ritual customs, and empirical observations, offering a concise yet coherent image of the ways in which people related to the cosmos, to natural phenomena, and to the living world surrounding them.
