It starts with examining the link between safeguarding intangible cultural heritage and sustainable development in the text of the Convention and then highlights key achievements and milestones, that underscore the role of safeguarding intangible cultural heritage for sustainable development and the wellbeing of the communities, groups and individuals that create, practice and transmit their living heritage.
